Following the outcome of the UK referendum on EU membership, the UK has today (January 31st, 2020) left the European Union.
As a UK based company, Advent Research Materials Ltd are committed to operating in line with best business practices in the UK and internationally and would like to reassure our global customer base of our commitment to a transition which is as seamless as possible.
We have operated for over 30 years supplying materials to the scientific community globally and have well established processes in place to handle any new Import and Export custom requirements or duties that may now be introduced.
We have reviewed and optimised our stock management strategies in order to minimize impact in the longer term and all catalogue items listed on the website are in stock and will remain eligible for same or next day despatch via DHL courier.
In the immediate term, all prices will remain as stated on the website, and no additional duties or taxes will be added to orders from the EU. Advent will revise this statement as required after the initial transition period, when new rules may come into effect.
For now, any import duties or taxes due for shipments into the European Union will be paid for by Advent Research Materials to ensure our customers receive the same level of service and value as we have always committed to providing.
