Substrate 5µm Polyester film, 1st coat Chromium 0.020µm. Top coat Gold 0.025µm. Weight show is the wt of the Au coating only. Coated side face up. The Cr coating, purity 99.6%, is a keying layer to increase adhesion of the Au coating. The Cr layer should not affect the acoustic properties, it will increase the reflectance to ~80% for a laser at 632nm. Actual analysis batch Gi4152 ppm: B 7, Cu 4, Ir 3, Pd 4, Pt 11, Rh 8 balance Au 99.996% Total minor elements detected 40pp. Limits of detection all 3ppm except K 1, Li 1, Na 1.
